The Father Flanagan Visitor Centre is open from 1st May to 30th September.  

Monday to Friday 11am to 4pm

Individual or Groups wishing to visit outside of these times can also be accommodated by using the details on our Contact Page.

ADMISSION

Free Admission to the Visitor Centre and Memorial Garden.  Donations accepted.

PARKING

On street parking is available.  Coach parking also available.

The Father Flanagan Visitor Centre

The Father Flanagan Visitor Centre is located in one of the oldest buildings in Ballymoe, and served as the local presbytery until 2007.  The building has been completely renovated and contains several ground floor rooms with various galleries which contain many exhibits detailing Father Flanagan’s life, his ministry and his work.

The Father Flanagan Memorial Garden

The Father Flanagan Memorial Garden located to the rear of the building is a peaceful, reflective, contemplative, prayerful, inspiring space, steeped in nature.  Follow along the meandering pathway and discover the story of Father Flanagan through the garden plants and the information boards.  Take a seat and ponder on the life of this wonderful man from Ballymoe. Your visit will enlighten you on a story that is worthy of articulation and capable of transforming the world.
